What can I say… I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last. Though this is not

my first iphone objective c book, this book is not for the beginner. The code is well documented

and even though theres a lot to read and study worth it in the end. This is definitely an app driven

    approach… I like it…

I already tried some few books and finally wanted to start developing for iPhone. But mostly after the first chapters and a stupid hello world example the content was not very appealing to continue with so I stopped. This book however has a very straight forward approach, at least for me as I already know object oriented programming etc. but come from the Java world. It gives you apps to program and learn new features of the IDE and the iOS SDK chapter by chapter. Very nice! One other issue is the super fast response by the authors. I had a problem with the code and received an answer that really helped me within few hours!

So if know programming (in other languages) and just want to start right away with iPhone programming, this book is for you!

  4. This booked really amazed me. A must have for experienced programmers.

Starts building apps from chapter one. Very good structure, but sometimes stays too long on the functions.

I’d recommend that the reader is comfortable with OO and Mac programming.

    Regards,

    Daniel
