This is a good book, very readable and accurate. Unfortunately it is already out of date as it came out before the current “Cupcake” ROM but it is still useful. I read it quickly and definitely picked up enough pointers to justify the price, which was very low (although shipping was expensive!)

Recommended for the average user who wants to get the most out of their Android experience.

Google on the Go: Using an Android-Powered Mobile Phone

This book is a must for the Android smart phone buyer as the Android Linux system is new on the scene. It will help the newbies and computer user get the most out of their Android powered phone. Unlike Windows or Mac, Linux is open source, not a proprietary system. So you are on your own with only the phone carrier or online chat rooms, to answer your questions. This book is a user manual and covers just about any question you might have to operate your phone to its full capability. The Eddy’s did a great job for the average user.
